Yeah, she is. I could scrape by and see the lease through, but there's no way she'd be able to afford it. Alone, anyway.
We're renting from a private owner, so I can probably throw a few hundred bucks at the lease and wriggle out. I'll make a phone call as soon as I see her stuff in boxes. The breakup is probably going to take a while.

Because if she is, she's going to hate you no matter how things end. So put the lease on her and give her the reason that she will undoubtedly make up anyway.
I had to take my dad's xmas gift back the other day because it was used and the disk was too scratched to play.
I do a lot of pawning and thrifting. When it comes to DVDs and CDs, what the fuck is wrong with people? Do they use them as hocky pucks? Seriously, how do you not know how they work? And that you should not scratch them?
Secondly, WHAT THE FUCK is the deal with people who throw away game cases? What sort of fucking shit hole do you have to live in before you actually can't be bothered with cases that help you organize your shit and just leave random disk all over the place?

I wonder that every time I go into a Gamestop and see all those fuck-ugly generic cases.
I also do not understand what the fuck people do to their used games.
I was trying to find a decent, used PSP-2000 recently for a friend of mine. Used = destroyed for that shit, let me tell you.
It is like the average american does not understand how bartering works. You buy something, and you try to keep it in good condition so when and if you sell it you can get more money for it. Cavemen understood this shit.
Maybe they think games and consoles are disposable? But how could anyone think such a thing? The shit cost at least $20 bucks. Who the fuck lives in middle class America and has enough disposable income that they can just throw cases and disk and consoles around?
Does it really surprise you that most people are filthy morons?
On a similar note, those new "green" game/DVD cases can fuck right the fuck off. The amount of plastic saved is marginal at best, and all they do is endanger the disc and make the case highly bendable.
My one friend throws away game cases and DVD cases. I asked him why. His reasoning was it takes up space. He puts all his games and DVD's in those DVD/CD binders. He keeps the manuals too. He doesn't keep games around long. He beats them then trades then in.
Moral of the story: I'm with BC and Squall on this, cause if he beats the game in a week (he has). Then why not keep the case! If he hates it taking up space, but he beats the game in a short amount of time. It makes logical sense to just keep the fucking case.
Now this is bugging me too.

I don't really get his logic either. "it takes up space" then he trades it in. Taking up space almost sounds like a non issue if you are going to trade it in. Is he really living such a bad ass life that he can't be bothered with something take up a few cubic grams of space? What does he do? Use his whole house for elaborate domino set ups?
