It's not the glass that's broken. It's the defogger lines themselves. The backing is still there but there's long sections of the conductive material missing. They're too long for a patch kit (which I tried and it worked for 2 weeks) and nowhere in town seems to fix them, so I have to replace the whole window.

Called my uncle who owns a body shop. Just the window from Jeep (he called my dealership and amazingly they had a price) is $980. A 3rd party window from a guy he deals from is usually $730. He said he buys so much from him he can get one and install it for $490.

Called my stepdad today (who used to work with a lot of the guys in the local car business and was a salesman himself) and he says "oh.....I have a parts guy at one of the dealerships I could call. WHERE WAS THIS INFO LAST MONTH WHEN I FIRST MENTIONED IT!?

Haha. I was at Target the other day and the lady in front of me was almost done being scanned. The cashier even watched me put the divider down as she grabbed the last two items and scanned them. For whatever reason the belt keep moving and my stuff is right next to the scanner now. The cashier looks right at me, picks up the divider and asks the lady in front of me if this is more of her stuff.

About your fast food comment....I can't count the times I've been in a place and some ignorant fuck is on their phone asking the person at the register to hold on.
