I never leave anything at work. Too much shit disappears.

In bugging me...My 4th of July sucked. This is generally my favorite holiday. Beer, burgers, friends and fireworks; what's not to love? I had to open the restaurant and expected it to be a little bit busy (despite the fact it used to be the slowest day of the entire year) but that I would get out at a reasonable time. Instead, it was absurdly busy and I ended up working way past when I was supposed to leave. I made it to my mother in law's for a little over an hour, ate a little and went home and fell asleep about 30 minutes later and ended up sleeping for 17 hours (I was pretty drained). The customers at our restaurant were either terrified about the concept of not being able to tap into their children's college fund for a day so they could eat out, were far too lazy to use their backyard they paid all that money for to cookout or had no idea it was a holiday and people generally do other stuff on this holiday that is different from the stuff they do every other day of the fucking week. When I was finally able to get out of the door, the restaurant was on an hour and a half wait.

I'm not really for government involvement in peoples lives, but I think it would be beneficial to society if any dumbass that was willing to wait 90 minutes to sit down and eat on the 4th of July be required to complete an outpatient mental healthcare program.

I went to a restaurant and bar yesterday. What business is it of yours how people want to spend their holiday? They paid for service, no?

We went out to eat on the 4th. I didn't realize that businesses frown upon people spending their money there.

Considering where I work the out lying areas still don't have electric. The 4th was just steady and not busy. I think most don't mind it being busy, but its aggrevating when the host is supposed to stop seating at 10pm and at 10:20 one more table is sat. It's like why have a closing time? That's the problem I have at my job.

Oh well, I have the money now to do it. It just sucks that it was locked in my locker, someone had the master key, and stole my shit. Now, everyone there is locking their knives in the managers office.

Reminds of two things:

Back when I worked at McDicks, someone went through my bag and stole my non-GH copy of SoTN. I really wasn't as angry about that as I should have been. I just bought a GH copy. But who does that?
