Wendys was the last fast food place that I could stand. They changed their burger meat and I can't stand the new stuff, and every time I've ordered my old fallback (spicy chicken sandwich) the lettuce has been wilted and brown and the chicken itself soggy. It"s just gross. Don't get me started on their awful fries.

their market share must have taken a knock by something. They've made a string of stupid menu decisions.
The latest is the cheesy burger, where they cover a burger in the lowest grade movie theater nacho cheese imaginable.
Nothing says old fashioned like dehydrated cheese powder product with a tablespoon of water mixed in. HMMMM, just like grandpappy used to make!
The rain this weekend made me forget to go up a few towns to the Slugburger festival. Fucking crap. I wanted to go to that.
I like Wendy's. Haven't been there for about a year though.

Cheeks, i saw a news report a few months ago that wendys knocked burger king out of the second spot (behind mcdonalds of course) so someone must like that shit.
Last year sometime they changed the entire menu, using "better" ingredients. The problem is that most things changed for the worse, and are more expensive. I really hate their "fresh sea salt" fries now. The burgers aren't as good either, but the one positive is that they seem to be using fresher vegetables. Sometimes.Quote:
