You're an animator/designer, right? I just saw a picture of the new RoboCop costume. I'm sure you can come up with a new design for that pieceofshitcraptastic costume and send it to the studio for immediate implementation. If it delays shooting, fuck it. Anything besides that wannabebatman rubber suit will be better.

There was a round of layoffs just a few weeks ago. Company's been doing shit and the parent company is tired of it, wanted some big time belt tightening. Although ironically, such measures means much less in terms of performance, which lead to more layoffs...but I digress!

So I was "saved" from the last round by being told that I should put my full faith and effort into optimizing our help desk articles (better SEO, visualization, copywriting), since it was always just done off the cuff, and better articles would lead to better/less tickets. That was apparently useful for only...a week and a half? So, another round of layoffs so soon, and bam! I'm done.

He can probably tell you in 6 months to two years when his nondisclosure agreement ends.
