Right on pg 1 it states the component inputs are 480i only, but he's disregarding this- because that's only applicable to the component inputs. As if you can get 720p/1080i from composite or s-video :rolleyes:. No, he's fixated on this part of the manual.

Because it states what it will do with a SOURCE that was upconverted, he thinks the TV is doing the upconversion and no matter how many times I try to talk him down he's not having it. I keep trying to acquiesce and he won't fucking drop it.
What an idiot, if it upconverts then light gun games would never work on it.
