Thanks guys. I don't know much about it yet and have been trying to read up on it. I've read they feel Gene Therapy may provide a cure, so here's hoping that the meds can help him till GT is effective at curing it.

So after months of not feeling great, being constantly thirsty, and thus having to take a piss every 3 goddamn hours, I officially find out I have Type II Diabetes.

Don't worry Wild, you'll be able to beat that and still be happy, I have no doubt of that. my dad also has that, and he's been dealing with it just fine for years. just not so many sweets and all that shit. once you haven't had them for a while, you really won't miss them much anymore.
