A gentleman walked in and asked if I had any zombie shooting games suitable for a 12 year old.
I had no idea how to make a suggestion for that.
A little digging and further questioning (which seemed to irritate the guy because I should just know what he's thinking) nailed it down to "no nudity."

I got the go kart out its winter hibernation yesterday. On the way home last night I passed a cop waiting on a side street to turn in the direction opposite of the one I was headed. As soon as I passed, he turned in my direction, sped up to ride my bumper and hung there for a quarter mile. Finally he turned on his flashers and pulled me over.
I turned off the car, turned on the interior light, and got my license out and ready for him before he reached my window.
"Good evening sir, know why I pulled you over?"
With as much disdain as I could inflect, I answered, "Nope."
I was not speeding. None of my lights were out. There was absolutely no reason to pull me over.
"Window tint."
It was 9:30 at night. How the fuck would he be able to tell it how opaque my window tint was in the 1/4 of a sec that I spent passing by the front of him when he was turning.
He asked me some other dumb questions, such as did I have the tint installed.
"Nope. This is how I bought the car 5 years ago, and the window tint has never been an issue, even when I was pulled over for speeding."
He went back to his car to run my paperwork and came back. "I'm going to let you go with a warning, but I'd advise you to remove that tint. It's dangerous and illegal." He then followed me for another couple of miles before pulling a u-turn to head back in the direction he was originally going to go.
This bugs me on multiple levels. First of course is the fact that I was being harassed and impeded when I had done nothing wrong. But beyond that is, I don't talk to police the way I did last night. I've always been very respectful "Yes sir, no sir, sorry sir." I had to bite my tongue to not reply "because I'm black" when he asked me why he pulled me over. If I'm having this attitudinal shift in response to recent events, others must be too. The people in charge better get their shit in line.
He was a dick, treat him as such. He probably wasn't expecting a 30 something white dude to be sitting in the drivers seat.

I got pulled in my old rx7 a while back and I think the cop was surprised to see a 30 something guy in dress clothes driving that old pos. No ticket. When driving the Miata I can do whatever the fuck I want and never get pulled, but dumb kids usually aren't driving Miatas.

It may be that the last 3 days I've spent reading and dissecting 5 books on Romanticism for a research paper that my brain isn't working right. Or I may just be dumb. Because it looks to me that I'm supposed to hand in an annotated bibliography AND an annotated bibliography. But his use of the word "topic" makes me think I'm supposed to hand in a summary of my paper? Or can "topic" mean each source? I don't know.

The fact that III is in there twice notwithstanding, how is this an assignment?
Just do the damn bibliography and if he complains, complain that his instructions are dumb and you're even. I'm not even sure he meant the first instance of 'annotated bibliography', personally.
is each assignment building up to a final paper? What are the ones before it? Can you see the ones after it? We may be able to infer by your position in the class.
It's asking that you summarize each source's topic, I think. I'd just do a standard annotated bibliography because I don't see evidence of her asking for anything different or additional.
Start it with a prospectus paragraph just to be safe--just a few sentences introducing your topic and argument. Then go right into your bibliography with a few sentences summarizing the argument of each right after each source's citation.
It's tough to say what you're being asked to do, but it's even tougher to say that the above suggestion doesn't meet what you're being asked to do.

I've never lived completely alone but I've occasionally gotten to have the house to myself for a few days. While it's nice to be by myself and do just about whatever I want, I'm reminded that I'm far more irresponsible when I'm left to myself. I basically stayed up until the sun came up playing games or sitting at the computer, drank too much (though I don't or even have the desire to drink heavily anymore, even socially), didn't do anything productive and spent most of my time by myself instead of taking the chance to catch up with friends and whatnot. I have an impressive wound above my right eye from the spider bite / poison ivy / whatever. The skin had become so inflamed and allergetic to whatever the cause was, that it killed a lot of skin. Now I have this spot that looks like a deep burn.
I picked the black scap off of it, because I'm retarded or don't believe in old women's advice, or something, and put petroleum jelly on it.
I hope it doesn't scar up too bad. If it does, I hope it is some kind of bad ass one that gets the ladies.
You need to keep a close eye on it and seek medical attention if you think it's infected and/or becoming necrotic. You don't know what caused it and spider bites can have some nasty effects depending on the spider. Facial wounds are also very susceptible to infection, especially if you're picking at it with your fingers.Quote:

Trying to buy a cheap cartridge and needle for a turntable I wanna surprise my Uncle with. The terminology used by audiophiles in reviews drives me crazy.
Digital storage. I am out of space on my Wii U and 3DS but don't really want to buy an external drive or a bigger SD card. Similarly, my 32GB Vita card has been full forever, but I can't rationalize a 64GB. It's not so much the money in any of the cases. It's what the money is going toward. It doesn't get less sexy than storage.
This is your punishment for making of fun of people buying physical copies of games. Why would you buy digital Wii U games that are available at retail? (I assume you did this if you maxed the storage) Between Nintendo's shitty account system, lack of decent sales, and no re-sellability, it doesn't seem worth it on that system.
I haven't bought a single digital Wii U or 3DS game that was available at retail for all of the reasons you mentioned.

I have Pikmin 3 but that's because I got it for free. It would suck if Nintendo servers got nuked from orbit and I couldn't access it anymore, because the game is really fucking expensive on disc. Thanks Reggie.
I only buy e-shop stuff on 3DS for the convenience of not having to carry around carts. The games I buy physical copies of are the ones I plan to play through once and then never touch again. It's usually whatever flagship Nintendo game I own at the time.
Stuff Like Super Street Fighter IV and Mario Golf, which I play in short bursts, are just much better to have on an SD card.
I get mostly digital stuff for the PS4 but a lot of it is indie stuff. Unfortunately, I think physical copies of games won't be around much longer. They are nice to have if there's network issues or to sell if you don't play it anymore but I think most people would rather just download a game than run to the store.
I don't think I've had more than 10 non-movie discs in my PS3 as long as I've had it.

So my PayPal account has been compromised for a second time, both times involving a fraudulent transaction (I changed my password/security questions after the first time it happened). Guess what I'm never using again!! Somehow some dude got my bank account information and tied it to his PayPal account and transferred $100. Somehow this happened even though my bank account was already tied to my PayPal account. The PayPal rep was even dumbfounded. He was like, "He shouldn't be able to do this." Pretty shitty security, imo. Called my bank and they're going to file a claim so I can get my money back. Oh if only I could meet the fucker who did this.
