My 52" Samsung LCD shit the bed this past weekend. I did a lot of research on that display back in 2009, and the reviews were pretty raving on the picture quality. 5ms response time and features of the set. The one thing that the reviewers (and I) didn't know, was that Samsung didn't use the best capacitors for the power supply of certain models of their displays.
I'm hoping that I can replace those caps by following one of the many tutorials that I've found on the web.

I spent the day replacing shot shoulder buttons and analogs on 360 controllers. You know how fun it is to solder in a new analog, get the controller back together to test it, and find out the analog is Chinese garbage that doesn't work right? I do! 4 of the 10 I replaced were garbage straight from the package.
I'd happily pay more than $.50 a piece for them if the more expensive ones on eBay weren't just the $.50 ones marked up for individual sale.

Kedawa, caps can be bad even if they look fine. Also even good caps only have a life expectancy of 20 years or so. So yeah, the Amiga probably could use some caps.
