My poor dog has some sort of mystery skin disease / allergy, and the vet has absolutely no idea what it is or how to treat it. Poor girl, her entire body is covered in this shit, just weeping hives oozing blood and pus.

As previously posted, I listed a bunch of DSi action replays on eBay. Based on what I had read previously, I advertised them as compatible with the 3DS systems. This apparently is not the case. No one has pitched a fit yet, but I'm expecting some ticked off people.
But what's really bugging me is that while I was scanning some other people's listing to see if they mentioned the 3DS compatibility (and many do, the thing that sucks about the internet is there's almost too much information. Well, my pup is doing better, but the vet still has no idea what's causing it. Bacterial / staph tests came back negative and the only thing the vet can figure is that she's severely allergic to something. I know it's not bee / wasp stings, we live behind a farm and she's constantly eating them in the backyard, I've seen her get stung multiple times and she doesn't even flinch.
Now I have to figure out what the hell she got into, and hope to hell that one of my kids doesn't get into it as well.
My friend's dog was allergic to her food, she had to start eating grain-free. She would have dried out, itchy skin and was losing hair. Not sure if it got to bleeding sores.

She's been eating the same food her entire life, its salmon and rice meal based from Costco, so I don't think that's it. Ants are a possibility, but not really a big problem in the Pacific NW like they are down south. You don't really see big ant hills or anything.
She is a gross ass dog though, and will literally eat or roll around in ANYTHING dead. She also likes to hunt the moles in our yard and scarfs them down pretty heartily. Thats about the only thing I can figure at this point, she ate something dead and funky and it fucked her up.
It's ridiculous, but she could have developed an allergy to her food. Happened to Cactus, and we had to end up getting fucking kangaroo for her to eat.
Change her food for a month and see what happens.
Yeah its not uncommon for dogs much like people to develop allergies later in life. My previous dog loved chicken and some time around age 9 or so she become allergic to it. That sucked.
Some how my student loan payment did not go through friday. Not like the bank blocked it, like the loan website didn't cycle through.
Sunday was tge deadline so I'm a day late now.

The sheer number of Suicide Squad Harley Quinn cosplayers at NYCC today was staggering.
I was with some people at Dragon Con this year who were taking drinks every time they saw one. I think they were up to 60 when I ran into them later in the day. It was definitely the most popular one I saw.
When I arrived to Penn Station this morning I saw about 10 of them just in walking out of the station. There were like 3 or 4 Harleys for every other female cosplayer.
Take a drink every time you see one that really shouldn't be wearing that outfit.

I've been awhile for a little while but knew I eventually needed to find my way back.
Things aren't too bad right now but my wife and I split up last Winter and basically moved on despite not being "officially" divorced. It was for the best and we've been getting along really well lately but there was some really hairy moments and it's been hard for my son to understand. I fortunately only live about a mile away and have still been able to spend a lot of time with my son but there's a lot of lonely nights that I'm still getting used to.

Still dealing with some of the emotional fallout from that but it's been on my mind less and less. I know I'll eventually be completely over it and everything will be cool but there's still some of the dark moments. I guess the whole "falling in love" thing caught me off guard after having been with the same person for 10 years. Probably wasn't the best situation for me to be in but that girl's ass was fucking heavenly and the sex was wild. I still should've known better but there were some positives I can take away from it. I'm also finding that I'm not so attracted to white girls anymore (girlfriend was black, wife was black, etc.).
Anyways, I'm still at a pretty low point in terms of having my "shit together" but I'm getting there and have some pretty big plans in the works. It could be way worse.
