Oddly, I was just thinking today that a new Fight Night game is a bit overdue, and then I see this:

I've been waiting for a new Punch Out! or Ready 2 Rumble-type boxing game to come out. This one may have potential.
I been hearing bout this. Looks interesting.
I think the Fight Night Team is working on it should have some good gameplay. I like the visuals. Realistic spittle and blood was never my forte. When Rico Suave(or whatever) came on screen for some reason Piston Hurricane popped into my head. I will keep an eye on dis one.
This looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
These guys know how to make a good boxing game.
I actually saw news about this today and am positively tickled pink about it. It looks like what a new punchout should be, stylistically. I haven't seen anything regarding the gameplay, but if it's exactly like Fight Night and does nothing do except characaturize everything I'll be happy. If it goes beyond that I'll be buying it as soon as it drops.
The Matador looking guy reminds me of Jesus from The Big Lebowski.
I'm liking this upswing in stylized 3D games lately. Less photo-realism, more a-this.
There is a decent sized article in the new EGM about this game and it sounds pretty cool. They claim they are trying to make a modern day Punch Out. The punches are going to be button presses instead of on the analog sticks like in Fight Night. The only thing I didn't like was that the developer said that if you go back and play Mike Tyson's Punch Out now that it is laughably bad. :wtf:
Yeah, Punch Out is still one of the best games ever.

Demo is up on Live, pretty sure it's on PSN as well. Limited, but I think it's pretty fun. Been a long time since an arcade boxer game out.
