I'm sad to admit this, but the week before Matrix Reloaded came out, we downloaded a bootleg copy, and I really enjoyed it. We convinced ourselves it was really, really good, and that there were incredible amounts of symbolism to every event onscreen, with far reaching implications for the series.

Then Matrix 3 came out and ruined everything.
