Not coincidentally the most Disney-like anime out there.

I have to second both Boondocks and Reservoir Dogs. I LOVED these movies when they came out, and turned many people onto them. Now I can't stand watching either.

As a kid, one of my favorites was My Side of the Mountain. I tried to get my kids to watch it. They pointed fingers and called me a faggot.

edit: What about the flipside of the coin? There are movies that I hated the first time I saw them, but then for whatever reason watched them again and loved them. Austin Powers, Half Baked, and Kung Pow are among some of mine.

They're right.

Ninja scroll is a great movie in the same sense Fist of the North Star is still awesome.

North Star always, always sucked.

I liked it more so for the animation. I like how the older anime had detailed animations, and backgrounds more so than alot of todays anime.

Ghost in the Shell leave you in "WTF" mode, while NS left you in a "DAME that was the shit" mode.
