999's been getting some good reviews. anyone play this yet?
I managed one play-through so far. The story is really good and surprisingly intelligent. The only real cons are:
1. It is a visual novel and really not the highest of production values, so a MSRP of $34.99 is reaching.
2. I have a general dislike of Aksys translation probably because of the Jake Hunter titles. 999 is their best work by far but still a bit monotone at some points.
I still need to buy Jake Hunter (not the first one, but the reboot).
Speaking of games like this... since Nintendo sucks ass and won't bring the Hotel Dusk sequel here, it looks like I'm gonna have to get a European copy. Anybody have a preferred Euro import site?
Play Asia has it- http://www.play-asia.com/Last_Window...n-70-3wkg.html
NCSX has it for more.
$50 is rather steep.
Not that it's gonna stop me...
Hotel Dusk was unmitigated trash. Cing got what was coming to them.
Your opinion is outrageous and unacceptable.
I loved Cing games. They didn't always hit a home run but their games were always interesting. At least they were still making games of the "point and click" variety. Speaking of Cing, the game Again is like $6.50 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Again-Nintendo...0976047&sr=1-6

I just said "what the hell" and ordered Last Window since I loved Hotel Dusk and didn't want to wait until it was out of production.
