I got it yesterday, played about 4 hours. I never played the orginal release.
It's mostly awesome, but the whole "if you spend too much time in the dungeon, (which isn't much time at all, tbh) your party will get tired and have to sit out the next day" bullcrap annoys me to no end. What's the variable this is determined by? Time lapsed? Steps taken? Battles fought?
Battles, I think.
The limit quickly grows and you won't be affected by it after the first bunch of floors.
I want to pick this up but nobody has it. wah
Apparently there is an anime sequel to the series that has already been running. I may have to check that out, it takes place 10 years in the future so I have a feeling it's just one of those things that leads to disappointment of all Fanfiction writers and just comes off as boring fan service.
Should be getting it in the mail in the next few days, can't wait.
It is worth buying an extra copy of this for its future rareness? I got my preorder yesterday and will open it and play it, of course, but may want another just to sell as T3H rare later on.
I... really want to play this today, I may go buy it from Gamestop instead of waiting till Monday doh.
In which I'd have two copies and have to sell one, so I may hold it for the sake of future rareness actually.
So, this game is good? What if you hate usual Jap RPG bullshit like random constant battles and leveling up?
