I don't know that that has anything to do with the far right. The guy felt guilty and decided to own up to something fucked up he did when he was a teenager despite the fact that he had gotten away clean. Takes some guts. More power to him.
A criminal turns himself in.

I wouldn't call him a hero, but turning himself in for a crime he committed and got away with is definitely a good thing.
If anything, it should be sociatially encouraged for criminals to turn themselves in more often. Uncomplicates things.
