She said she doesn't drop money in tip jars if it's a chain restaurant and does if it's a mom&pops shop. Servers usually get paid the same way wherever they work and unless you've done some investigative detective work beforehand on the tip system of each restaurant it doesn't make sense to punish people in one chain just because they work there as opposed to someone working at Tom's Diner.
It's the same shit. The brand chain just has a nice air freshener on it.
