OMG!!! late night Gears tonight... like really late. Not gonna get back until around 11:30 or 12 central.

What's a good way to improve in the multiplayer? Other MP games I play (CoD4, TF2) seem to go okay, but I'm just not getting the flow of this one. Close range weapons like the shotgun don't seem to work like I would expect them. It seems to easy to get a shot off, see that they're still kicking, and watch them off me in one blast. There must be something about this I'm missing...
