Call the phone service's customer service line?
Leave it on and wait for the owner to call you. Or just call someone on their contact list and ask whose phone it is. I mean, you don't have to be Sherlock fucking Holmes here.
I was hoping not to talk to anyone :p
I think you'll probably end up having to talk to someone, do what Dolemite said. There's no place you can really take it if you find it on the street.
Call the home number.
do what I did.
reply to the last text message saying you found this phone and if possible could you (the person you're texting) contact the owner so that he can pick it up.
We get them in all the time at work, I usually just find the number listed as "home" and call it.
What provider is it for? If its Verizon I may be able to find you an address.
Don't forget to check for any incriminating pictures and/or videos before you return it.
Sounds shady.
yeah, watch out if he wants to "show his appreciation" ;)
No WAIT THE CALL CAME FROM INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!
THE TRACE SAYS ITS YOUR PHONE!!!!!!!!

Haha. The guy was really grateful and wanted to give me money (5 bucks I think). I refused and wished him luck.
If it was me, I would have slapped you for asking this ridiculous question in the first place.
call home, girlfriend/boyfriend, mom, dad, work in that order. it shoudl be in the phone list. If that fails find the carrier and deliver it to one of their stores, theyll do it from there.

It's easier to just reply to the first post.
And theres a better chance of you looking like a douche.
Everybody wins.
So, how's everyone doing?
