Yeah. It's the usual Squeenix/Namco DLC rape. I refuse to get the game solely on principle.

If they release the full game of Get Even I'll buy it, but up to that point it can languish on WiiWare. Who knows, maybe Nintendo will have a storage solution that doesn't 100% suck by that point.
Hint to Nintendo- It's called a hard drive.

I got it, and it is absolutely phenomenal. Yes, I bought all three expansion packs for it also, so the total cost came to 2000 points. It was worth it. The expansions have two levels at three stages each including a boss battle in the 3rd stage. Also, each comes with a different craft that you can use. It's very fun.
The delivery is stupidly obnoxious, though. Multiple downloads shouldn't be required for one game. I'm getting really tired of games being shattered into game fragments. Doing it right = Burnout Paradise. Wrong = Space Invaders Get Even, Megaman 9, Beautiful Katamari, and I don't even want to know how many more on the way.

Well, I would agree with you if Nintendo would allow for demos of WiiWare games. Since they don't, I can't complain that I at least get a portion of the game for 500 points, and if I don't really like it that much, I don't need to spend the full 2000 points on it.
There is no excuse that they don't offer demos of these titles. Hell, even Sony is guilty of this with some of their titles.
I completely agree that Wii Ware needs to get demos. Xbox Live Arcade has spoiled me in that aspect. I'm going to need to be extremely impressed to lay down cash blindly for stuff on Wiiware after buying so many games that I consider crap.
Side note, Why is this in the Space Invaders Extreme thread?
Because it would be a 1-reply thread on its own.
