Terrorist Attack in New York

The Officials can't decide if they want to announce it was terrorists.
But something blew up the door to the Armed Forces Recruiting Station in NYC.

I guess they have to use their politically charged word "terrorists" carefully.
Maybe they have yet to decide if it was Islamic Extremist Terrorists
Or maybe it was a rat that ate a mixture of explosive substances laying around in the gutter and then went boom when it tried to squeeze back inside. Or was this another Aqua Team Hunger Force promo gone wrong.

Come to think of it, Al Queda did attack Madrid just before thier elections back in March 0f '04, and it had a profound effect on the outcome. Hopefully some knuckleheads don't have the same idea around here.

It was probably some anti-war idiots, which are worse than terrorists in a lot of ways.

Even if the current war feels pointless, starting shit at home is the dumbest possible way to deal with it. "Oh well you bombed our recruitment station, guess we should pull back"

Seriously though, where do we (or the media, or politics) draw the line between terrorists or "just some asshole".
I mean, come on: this was the "Armed Forces Recruiting Station"! Whether or not it was an incompetant Al Queda sleeper cell, some drunk asshole with an M80, or a political protest, it would still seem to be terrorism to attack a recruitment station.
I suppose the motive has to be determined.

The intent would probably be to discourage people (or make 'em think twice) from going to recruitment stations.

The idiots who protested Vietnam turned out to be the worst generation ever, but I suspect they'll be challenged by the current generation of morons.
