I voted Star Wars simply because I was obsessed with it growing up, it's just a part of me. I've seen the original trilogy so many times it's not even funny. Fuck, I watched ROTJ last night.

BUT.

I fucking love Star Trek too. Moreso now more than ever really. Growing up I used to watch TNG with my Grandpa at 7 on FOX. In retrospect he does not seem like the type of man who would like Star Trek, but I mean, he also watched General Hospital every day, so who knows. I also remember seeing Generations in theaters with my dad, which... well I guess is ridiculously appropriate. In the past year I've watched more ST, and a selection of "great episodes" from my girlfriend's trekkie brother. I'm watching TOS now and am eager to get to TNG. Still though, DS9 is something I never watched, every time I tried I got insanely bored and then realized I was watching UPN and then killed myself.

I could talk about Star Wars and Star Trek all day every day. I think they both have a dense and likable universe, but SW has better alien design, and generally better action.

As for the prequels I think it about equals out to all of the shitty Star Trek episodes.

And *is* there a good Star Trek game?

Sadly Alec Gunness hated Star Wars and resented Star Wars fans. I've read that he destroyed all of his Star Wars related fan mail without reading it. I mean, Alec Guinness is a great actor, but Stewart is more awesome. Patrick Stewart is just downright fucking rad.
