Patrick Swayze will likely face an uphill battle in his fight against pancreatic cancer, physicians say.

The actor's publicists released a statement Wednesday, after reports in the National Enquirer and other publications said doctors had told the "Dirty Dancing" star he had only five weeks left to live.

"Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far," George Fisher, Swayze's physician, said in the statement. just watched Roadhouse like last week for the first time. ...man, the 80's were from another dimension.
Red Dawn is tops, I can't say enough about how that shaped our play styles back in the old neighborhood. "Wolverines!!!"

This is a shame. I LOVED Roadhouse as a kid as well as Red Dawn. I hope he beats it, but if he doesn't I hope his life ends peacefully in his sleep. Cancer is terrible...
