Teddy Bears

That's a sweet story AG. Now that I have a little girl, my wife made her a teddy bear. I hope she likes it as much as you like yours. See attachment.

My own personal story, I had a bear too, I think I named him Buck. One night, my brother and I were playing catch. We live on the 14th floor, our bunk bed is next to the window (it has bars so we can't just crawl out). He was on the top bunk, and the game was that he will drop the bear outside the window and I catch it in the bottom bunk. Needless to say, that was the last time I saw Buck.

Oh come off of it. Kids don't even have gender role concept until they're in kindergarten, and even then it's all socialization bullshit. There is nothing wrong with boys having stuffed animal toys as children, or keeping them as keepsakes. My brother is in the Marines and he never threw out his old penguin plush. Keeps it at home and we know we'll get messed up if something happens to it.

My great-grandma also likes to knit, and she made me a long stuffed snake I named Hector (no idea). It was 4.5 feet long, green with yellow diamonds, and bulgy eyes. He's awesome. Keeping it to maybe show my kids if I ever have any, it'll be neat to say 'your great-great grandma made this for me when I was your age'.

I joked with my wife about B-A-B. I said she can go build the bear, but she can't walk out with it (I am not paying that overpriced POS bear that they can't afford a nickel/hour Chinese worker).

I had this stuffed animal, but none of us were ever sure exactly what animal it was. It was white with this huge head, 2 little puffball ears on strings, and a puffball tail. I would take that thing everywhere. When I was little, I had the flu really bad and had thrown up on the back of it's head. The spot didn't come out in the wash so I just put a band aid over the spot. My mom still has it at her house and the band aid is still there.
