Hey kids. Tomorrow morning I'm off to Panama until the 22nd.
Remember this thread? It bears on this one because I'm going with the same friend on yet another free, all-expense paid trip (airfare, hotel, meals, booze). He's a stockbroker, and the firm he works for offers free trips if you make certain quotas. For the Hawaii trip in 2005, I got to go because his gf at the time broke up with him because he didn't propose to her. This time, his current gf can't go because she's a teacher and this is the year she makes tenure, so she can't afford to take off. Lucky me- all I had to do was head into Manhattan to get a passport.
This is the resort we're staying at. Not bad, eh? I assume we'll probably check out the canal at some point, and we're signed up for a few excursions at his company's expense.
