I feel progressively greater ass pain with every pay raise and promotion. Sometimes it's to the point that a raise is barely felt. Whenever I hear the word "progressive" my first inclination is to grab my wallet and hide under something solid. Liberals should take it easy with that word if they want my swing vote.
We have a progressive tax system (at least in theory), it's not a liberal buzzword or something.
As is often the case, words can have more than one meaning. I get the definition as it relates to taxes, but it still has that stink about it. Maybe don't throw it around so much, that's all.
I make so little right now that I got money back for my taxes earlier this year, the first time that's ever happened. I'm kind of interested to see what my taxable income will be for this year.
