Same here. I was picturing an epic battle like when Brad Pitt jumps on the bear at the end of Legends of the Fall but this guy just built a trigger-pulling machine and stood in front of it on purpose. Why not just do it the old-fashioned way? I could understand building a big sentient robot and then picking a fight with it to commit suicide because that'd be awesome but this is just lame.
