Large Pillow Fight Today in Union Square

Today is Pillow Fight Day in a ton of cities around the world but I only care about the NYC one. It'll be fun. I'm going to take pictures but if I find a pillow I may join in the assholery.

They should change it "Free Sock and an Orange Day" and hand them out at the park. What will they do with the sock and orange? Nobody knows!

I'm right by Copley Sq. right now, I missed the actual pillow fight, but the park is covered in trampled, muddy pillow feathers. So it happened!

Is it sexy like other pillow fights?

Shoot. I would have shown up in Pajamas a helmet and body armor.

Definitely going to do this again up in L.A. It was so much fun last year, and I got my picture printed in one of the small local magazines. A guy who showed up in a full-body chicken suit and I couldn't resist, I introduced myself and gave him his official PFD name: Mr. Cluck!. He and I would fight a bunch of people, give each other the evil eye and then proceed to beat the hell out of each other again. Good times :).

Did any one else go?

I went to the one in Downtown LA. I had feathers in my boxers.

Had to skip it. I had a girl here and I didn't want to go and bump into the girl who dumped me last week.

I was there (NYC). It was awesome. Down feathers were falling everywhere like snow.

A chunk of Wall Street was closed down, but people were overflowing and soon random pillow fights were breaking out all over the city. A huge one started up in Citibank Plaza and soon guards were out with dogs and bullhorns threatening to call the cops if they didn't disperse.

...do the dogs live in the bank?

Beats me. It was a nice doggie, however. He let me pet it.
