again, if you are young, broke/cheap, traveling alone and light, and generally don't give a crap about shit, then look into a bed at a hostel.

or hell, get a group together and sleep in the park in shifts. manhattan isn't care-a-lot or anything but it is very safe compared to how it was 20 years ago and most other cities now.

Anyone got room for Opaque, the woman, and I for a few days? Opaque and I really don't care about sleeping on a floor (well bring pillows), but I think the woman might want to snag a couch or something. We'll buy train/subway fare or figure out some other way of compensating (wink) our host.

Don't let your woman sleep on a couch. I'm sure Biff will let you use his bathtub, as long as you're out by noon.

Fuck, I don't care. I just dont want to shell out money for a hotel room that I'm going to be in for less than 8 hours a day. Thats money I'll never see again.

If I'm not constantly doing something in New York, then something is wrong. I'm not going there to sit on my ass and watch cable in the hotel room.
