Can I say again how much I love John Lester? I thought he'd be a #3 at best, and likely only a #4 or #5 starter, but he's turning into as ace. Sox are going to retake the lead.

Feel my pain. Lidge is actually blaming Clint Hurdle for warming up multiple times during the All Star Game for his arm issues. Flush Gordon is done so you have Durbin who hasn't been great lately and JC Romero who has had his own problems taking care of the late innings.


The Mets must squash the Nats and the next four game against the awful Pirates. No excuses for them! This month favors the Mets big time and in September the entire NL East will be playing each other till the very end.


I still don't trust those pain in the ass Marlins but they are still hanging around. Jimmy Rollins who is having a subpar year called Philly fans frontrunners on TV. Not sure how that'll go well with the fans.

We'll see, I believe we've held first place the longest of any other teams in the division so far this season and we still have a good bullpen, despite the fact the offense has been slumping a bit.

The Mets have the worst bullpen in baseball though. Worse than the Janks even.
