Come on Stormy, you know the Steinbrenner's don't give up any season.

Thats why this is so entertaining to watch with them. Cashman knows what the problem is, but the owner's aren't ever gonna let him fix it properly. Its like watching a Rachel Ray 30 minute meal where Emeril comes in throws all her food on the floor in minute 28.

Sox are leveling out in a good way right now. Lester is gonna be a monster.

Maybe not but he was rotting in the pen for 6 days. He should have pitched the 9th in that 12-0 blowout against the Nats instead of Stokes going for some ludicrous 4 inning save. Kunz has a rep for wildness in the minors but he was overthrowing today. In any case my hair will not last the season because of the pen and I may need to order a new case of Pepto Bismol.

I hate saying this -- no really, I do -- but the Jays' season hinges on the next few games. The next 12 are against division rivals. If they make a run, it'll have to be now.

OH YESH! And J.P. Ricciardi robs Team Canada of their ace pitcher, makes him start twice, and then demotes him to fucking Dunedin. For Richmond's sake, I hope the Jays are playing important games this fall when he returns with the rest of the September call-ups. Otherwise... oy.

Speaking of the Jays it seems that AJ Burnett will opt out of his contract in the offseason and I think there will be plenty of teams that will take a chance on him. I think Jays fans pretty much figured he was a goner since the season began.
