Wang was on fire today.
Wang was on fire today.
you should probably get that checked out
And start protecting your Wang after you do. Penacilin won't cure everything.
This is like a Mets thread with a little MLB thrown in.
Alou now might have a "slight fracture" blah blah blah blah blah. Cut this asshole loose already.
this is because half the yankee fan posts are you and rich fronting about alcohol and women
just like at the stadium
i had no problem keeping the guy around and gambling on his health because he is a such a good hitter when he's out there. but relying on him was just stupid. we need another RH bat very badly.
(and the way i heard it, alou insisted he was ready to play but the mets medical staff has been cautious. the guy has been a pro his whole career and i think he has a good attitude. he has just been cursed with a brittle body. he'd be a surefire HoFer if he could have stayed on the field.)
To be fair I haven't posted in this thread for a while because I wanted to respect your wishes. But I do read it, and it's making me sad.

Wang improved to 17-1 in 23 career starts against AL Central teams.
You could probably say this about Pedro, too. I'm not sure that he's a shoe-in for the HOF, either. Is 209 wins enough?
In either case, neither of these guys are doing the Mets any good and I'd much rather have a slightly "lesser" player that's a lot more durable than either of these clowns.
Pedro is a shoe in as much as any pitcher out there.
