Yeah, I think last night was Billingsley's best outing of the year so far. He showed that he had some good stuff last year, and it seems like he took a bit of time to heat up this year. He wasn't bad his first few outings, but he looked a lot better last night :)Quote:

Actually I thought Billingsley was off his game last night. He didn't seem to be able to hit his spots consistently, but it was enough since the Mets are still sleepwalking. Oliver Perez looked bored, even after Furcal, Dewitt, and Kemp hit gargantuan homers off him.

I think we can all agree that Kuo OWNS the Mets at this point. The Mets make Kuo look like he should win the Cy Young award. Whats the deal with that? Kuo tore the Mets up in '06, he tore them up last year, and he got 8 strikeouts in relief tonight. Delgado and Wright looked absolutely lost against him.
Kuroda looked shaky again tonight, and I haven't been that impressed with him yet...

Well, the Mets are still a great team this year. Tonights game really could have gone either way. Wright's defense saved a few runs tonight...and Loney's play in the 9th inning kept the Mets from tying the game.Quote:
