I think Advocate pulled pics from B-Ri's album. Cool concept, but would it work well for watermarks and such?

Advocate... thats kinda busy, yes?
I still like Sambas.
I think Advocate's would work well for a business card. It's eye-catching and showcases B-Ri's photography.
This is true. The cleaned up head with a classy font of the website address, and something like "B-Ri Productions" on a line above the website/phone number would all look really nice on a business card. I'd use a grey or silver, solid, for the font and put it on the right margin of a business card with a textured background and I'd lose the grey.
I also think you should go by something other than B-Ri. Even your last name sounds better, another good idea by Advocate.
However I put my vote with:
"C-Ri Productions"
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah@omfg.com
Only don't use Productions. It should be like "Photo/Photography by Moreno" or "Moreno Photography" or something like that.
I also think a neat idea to play with would be to fill the white space in the lenses with some photos/something very colorful. That would kind of imply the photographic vision you have and it'd be attention grabbing, but you'd have to do it right so it wouldn't look like shit, a simple, vibrant image. I don't technically know how to work any of these programs very well but I can provide photoshop and illustrator to you on the DL but if you fuck around enough you can do some good things.
Some frame-filling ideas from your gallery:

http://lh3.google.com/briangmoreno/R...jpg?imgmax=800 - mirror/rotate this one before trying it

Of course you'll have to play with cropping and resizing those images to fit the frames, and see if any of them look good tiny. A good picture of a daffodil or something would work well, something with a simple subject that you can make out small.
Thanks. I didn't think I was trying for anything. All he is doing is asking for ideas. At least you (i'm being real here) are helping and offering advice in the matter.
Also: I pulled photos that he could not be sued for trademark infringement.
Hence, the wine, flowers, ladmark, and black and white tree at night.
yes. Brian is constantly putting new photos in fliker.
See, I actually don't know what Brian wants this to go on. Is this for a business card? The beginning logo for a film? What exactly?
Cause if it is for a business card or letterhead. Then yes, firstblood is right. The latest one is a bad idea.
What is first and foremost is a logo. This is soemthing that WILL go on business cards and will be my watermark on photography.
Secondly, then there is the business cards, the logo needs to exist ti throw on business cards, i need it before mid april because i am going to get some of my BIGGEST job ops mid april. After business cards then comes the site.
The name like ive said is not finalized. I was in the mindset that i was trying to sell myself as a photographer, thus the glasses and hair, cause those are the iconic things about me. I do very much hear what you guys are saying that i should sell my work and vision over myself.
I do thank all of TNL that has contributed to all of this, and from here and on out. I wanna start this business, i have many reasons to do this, stated or not.
Tonight, i had people approach me complimenting my photography for the first time, and it was a breath of fresh air. it really was. Its only given me drive to go above and beyond what i am doing right now. Thanks TNL.

okay, here's what i just made in 2 minutes, and while it's not very good, i think it's the best anyone could do just using what bri posted.
It sucks, but at least the type makes some sort of attempt at working with the image.
