I find it interesting that Runescape/WoW spam was posted in a two year old thread about dinner.
Also, such a polite and grammatically accurate spam bot. This might actually have been constructed by someone who's native language was English, which all the more makes it interesting that it chose this thread instead of a proper one. I am genuinely interested in how this came to be
I went to dinner with my girlfriends extended family and they opted for the "Everyone pays an equal share" method. Even though neither of us got an appetizer or dessert, we were subsidizing the fat assholes who did. It pissed me off.
You can just, you know, NOT pay it. What are they going to do about it? It's not like you stiffed them on the bill.
Then you will be THAT GUY for the rest of eternity from her extended family's eyes. I know you don't give a shit if it was you.
Next time, order a lot of drinks or apps/desserts so they can subsidize your meal. Or just don't go.
When I'm in a situation where it's gonna be a straight up split check like that I drink. Lots. Because fuck you.

I'd have been fine with it if I was told beforehand, but it was a total sneak attack when the check came. I did the math and we ended up paying over 30 dollars more than we would have if we had just paid for our own food
