I would not call their winning this series "getting hot". If it weren't for Theodore we would have won some of those games by a few more goals, and maybe won in 5. The other huge factor is that our star player chocked big time. Avs won't be able to beat San Jose, they will get destroyed by them. And despite having a better record than the Flames in the Division, the Flames would beat them pretty easily as well. It would be the same story for the Wild too.

The Ducks are out. The Avalanche can't get out soon enough. Hopefully, this will contribute to stars not coming out of retirement in February to make a run for the cup.

Yeah, so Lundqvist was just nominated for his 3rd Vezina (along with Brodeur and Nabakov) in his 3rd season.

So, Brodeur fans, please stop acting like I'm fucking nuts for putting him up with Marty as one of the best goalies in the NHL and the better playoff goalie over the past two seasons. Only 3 are in the entire league are finalists for this award and Henrik has been there in each of his 3 seasons.

Lundqvist is going to get it. I love Nobokov though, and hes going to get one eventually.

Im so glad the Ducks are out, other than Selanne I really dislike everyone on that team. Especially J.S., Bertuzzi, and Getzlaf. Is it confirmed that the NHL is shrinking the pads again next year? I hope so, just because its going to make J.S. cry, even more-so when they lost to the Devils.

There is this whole thing here in Minnesota where we had this one sided rivalry with Dallas because they are our old team. We destroyed them in our first meeting 6-0, and the city went nuts for days, but I think thats really gone away after all these years. Hell, we honored Madono with a special award at the Xcel one night, gave him a painting of the old Met where he started with the North Stars. So I can feel ok now with rooting for Dallas. But only to the Conf. finals, I want San Jose in the Cup.

Can't wait for this Bruins v. Habs game 7 tonight. Its going to be awesome.

I like Boston's chances in this game after watching the first period. They've played extremely well, despite being down (1-0 so far).
