You're right. If thats your thing then go for it. We're all geeks here.It's no big deal. Im sure that a lot of people here, Ive seen with tons of DBZ, Streetfighter or other stuff on their walls, have other interests, or likes besides those.Why not put something different up to show that? The ones you put up were a good example of other interests you had in music, movies, scenery, and the arts. Some cool stuff. I dont know. When ever I walk in someones place, its always nice to see something original up. Not just anime, or those stupid fucking Scarface posters that 1 out of every 4 apartments probably has in it.

The vintagey shit did kick into high gear and get a bit popular.Its why you can find it anywhere these days, I guess. I have enough vintage. I wouldnt buy any more unless I saw something cool that I had to have. I need some more different stuff.

24X36 is the standard size for most movie posters, though I'm not sure how big they were back then.

Here's one you can get for as low as $1.50 for a reprint.

As a few have said, Kim Possible is probably the only good animated show being produced by Disney right now. For those who haven’t seen the show, it is a animated cartoon on Disney. It fallows the heroic exploits of a teenage girl who somehow became a super hero Bond like character. To aid her, is her good friend Ron, and his side kick Rufus, a hairless mole rat that often times is more skilled than either Kim or Ron.

What really makes the show is it’s villains. Some of the best humor in the show comes from the bad guys. You have everything from Monkey Ninjas, to a Scots-man that attacks with flaming golf balls.

My favorites are Drakken and his sidekick Shego. Drakken is your classic evil genius, while Shego is a super powered ninja like woman who is evil for the sake of being evil. She is also probably the smartest bad guy in the entire show. The only thing really stopping her from taking over the world seems to be apathy. Most of the episodes these two are in are worth watching if only for the comedic arguments between the two of them. One such argument can be found here.

Oooh, thank you! I used to have anime posters when I was younger but I took them all down. I have a couple of Utena wallscrolls in my walk-in closet though. I have tons of video game posters up in the game room.

Yeah, a lot of those vintagey posters are nice, but since you can cover a room's walls in stuff like that with one trip to Bed Bath & Beyond, you gotta understand why some people might roll their eyes at that as hard as they would someone's anime-filled room. I just think it's dumb to condescend to them like you're the king of good taste now. Just display what you like. It'd be stupid to do otherwise. :p

That King Kong poster is beautiful, though. I had been coveting some old movie posters at a gallery near my old apartment for some time. I love stuff like that.

I have never been one for wallscrolls. My gf likes them, but meh. I get promo posters, movie posters, etc and just have them framed.

I've got a bunch of horror film posters, dvd inserts and mini-posters up around my room.

EDIT: Wallscrolls are the gayest thing (and I mean that in the most insulting way possible) to have up on your wall. It's like I'll instantly judge a person as soon as I spot one in their room.
