Daioh is the direct-but-unofficial precursor to Shienryu. The US version had a Radiant Silvergun-like system where you had 6 buttons to fire any weapon at any time, wheras the japanese version had a typical Toaplan/Seibu system where you got floating powerups that changed color to get different weapons.

A comic book inspired game from the 2000s. It shares its name with an 8-bit gun game.
