Savages!

Sorry I have to vent really quick, but on Friday I went to get my car inspected. They told me I was going to fail because my "Check engine" light was on. So they charged me $80.00 to find out the problem. Turns out it was some kind of pump and charged me a total of $220 and told me to come back after a few days so it could reset itself. Well the damn light came on again today and so friday I'll have to go through the same process. So I am so angry with Gas out of control and toll roads here in Austin. It's starting to dip into my Games, books, comics and anime hobbies. ARGGHHH!!!

Damn man, thats sucks, I'm sorry about your anime hobby.

That sucks. We don't have these inspections in Ohio and I drove my last car with the check engine light on for almost 4 years.

FL = no inspections yay

Tip: If you know it won't lead to imminent failure, go to any discount tire or whatever and ask them to clear the code. Give the young guy helping you out a ten spot if you're not charged and go on your way.

The only thing they inspect in PR is gas emissions. You can have no signal, reverse, or tail lights, horn, or brakes, and if you pass the emission test you pass inspection. It's horrible, considering there are 3 million cars here and less than 4 million people.
