Design by humans

I thought about posting this in the artist's block but I figured it might no be acceptable. Anyway Design by humans is a kickass site for t-shirts. Anyone can submit a design and then people vote and if you are lucky your design will get chosen. Every weekday brings a new shirt and the winner get's some cash and the chance to win more.

I'd love to see someone here submit a design (cigs and Kidnemo I'm looking at you).

I ordered two shirts and they look great, medium is a bit bigger than what I'm used to but hopefully they'll be good after some washing.

I didn't know about threadless but you can't have too many t-shirts so it's all good I guess.

Threadless is exactly the same concept. Exactly. This Design by Humans site looks to be worse so far though.

I wish they had more tshirts with solid designs. I'm sick of birds, trees and splatter-paint. There's a few cool ones though.

I never liked that shit. Simple is often better on a t-shirt. Unless you're black.

over-designed T-shirts are so 2005.

I, for one, fucking love these shirts. Any idea what brand tee they print on? I also like some Threadless designs but their shirts have a weird fit that I don't like.

I just looked at Threadless and a bunch of their new designs are shit.

And Threadless's house brand t-shirts they're using now are thin and shitty.

The last one looks like something from Bleach (anime), cause of the hole in the chest.

Yeah, the black orb thing is weird looking, I'm still trying to figure out what the deal is with it.

In Bleach its explained that the soul is bound inside that black orb. If its cut you become either a ghost or a wandering soul looking to feast on the living ... aka zombie.

You should watch the first season of Blach. Its a kick ass anime.

A lot of their shirts look like ones from Express Men, which is nice since I like those but the XS was too big.

I got a design by humans shirt, and I must say, it's much nicer than Threadless. The medium fit me really well and the print is of much higher quality for the same price. Anyone thinking about getting one, I give it a stamp of approval.

Just wear band tees. They haven't steered me wrong yet.

I always feel weird about that because generally, I don't care that much about a band.

I wear comic/band tees. They're awesome. I wish I were punk rock enough to wear a Britney tee, though. Wtf.

I've got a Pixies concert shirt I love, but that's it, really. I don't go out and a lot of the music I listen to is a bit obscure/lacking in the T-shirt department.

I'm pretty over Threadless. They haven't had a decent, unique design in ages, and went sort of overboard in the contests area. The design by humans site looks interesting...got some good stuff. The shirts are a bit more contemporary than Threadless...

Heads up to anyone that likes this place, they're having a sale until Friday night. A lot of shirts are $5-10 off and some start at $12.

What's the actual quality of the material? If it's not American Apparel or similar, no sale.

Threadless shirts kind of suck. I like the designs, sometimes... but the shirts are flimsy and see-through.

American Apparel really makes the best t-shirts in the world. Everyone should print on them.
