I have been to restaurants all over the world and NOT ONE was pretentious enough to support Icarus. In fact, I hope he owns one someday so it can fail or be sued in two weeks.
The only thing I have ever witnessed is when Peter Luger and his overrated steak joint refused to cook a steak over medium for an oriental couple a few years ago.
