Fallon sucks, but at least Carson Daly didn't get it. That is a show with not one redeeming quality. He even thinks he's funny.
I thought it wasn't set in stone that Leno was going to leave. I know they've had the deal in place for a while but weren't there reports that he was reconsidering retirement and wanted to stay?

Jimmy Fallon?! What a awful idea. His whole schtick is that he can't keep it togethor, and giggles through his lines on SNL etc. He is always mugging for the camera, and trying to act like he is nervous or aloof. Why would that make a good talk show host? Fallon isn't interesting. Just like how Kimmel isn't interesting. Kimmels interviews go no where, because he has nothing to say to them. Just sounding boards for the actors.
Ferguson is a goof ball too, but hes actually pretty funny. And when he talks to guests, he actualy converses with them (like Conan, or Carson). Not that he is as good as those two, but hes better than Kimmel/Daly. Lettermans whole deal is that hes an ass, and brings up topics the guests don't want to talk about. Its fun to watch because the interviews are never normal, and he takes sharp hard left turns at any moment. While Leno is like a nice Resturant Owner who specializes in babel with repeat customers, but he's not really saying anything and the conversation is chit chatty.
Fallon, ugh. What was that shitty song he had? Idiot Boyfriend or something? Classic movies like Taxi, and Fever Pitch. Awesome choice NBC.
I like Kimmel a lot. All those shows are nothing but sounding boards for the actors, lol @ thinking Letterman is any different. Conan's conversations are probably the most superficial since he plays such a wacky personality on the show. If you want to complain about mugging for the camera though Letterman is #1.
The thing about Kimmel is that he is himself more than any of the other hosts. If he's bored in an interview it shows, and it's usually because the person is brainless and trite. Conan will revert to schtick, Leno will smile and kiss ass, Letterman will make a face and throw a pencil, Kimmel just lets the guest flounder which is entertaining in it's own right.
I like Conan best but Kimmel is good too. The rest can die in a fire.
