Played tonight up to the chapter 7 battle (but haven't played that yet). Starting to get pretty interesting. Now if my snipers/lancers could just aim worth a shit.
Also, is it worth it to grind at all in this game, or should I just play through the story?
Yeah, it is worth it, but they'll provide side missions called skirmishes, as long as you do all those you should be alright by the end.Quote:

Have fun with mission 7, it's a doozy.
Ch7's battle isn't as difficult as it is counter-intuitive.
You can sit there and trade shots with Max all day as long as you have two Engineers healing the tank every round, and never figure out what you're actually supposed to do.
You don't consider "shoot the glowing spot on the giant boss" is intuitive?Quote:

And if you camp in front of him and stay alive each round, there's no reason to think that you have to retreat to home base.
