I'm reminded I need to finish this. I was playing it around Christmas when I first got it, then my surround sound went out, had to buy a new one, set it up, and kinda forgot I had it in my PS3. I think I left off after the stealth mission with Welkin and Alicia, or right after the tank fight in the city. I don't know which came later.
So the DLC is out, and I know B-Ri bought it. Trophy confirmation por favor.

ummmm goats. It's only 30 bucks now. I'll hit up the DLC this weekend. I need to get back into it, so now is a good time.
I bought the DLC, now i just need to get my game back from a buddy who borrowed it.
DLC took 30-60 minutes to download (Selvaria mission was ~225MB), including v1.20 patch. Finished Edy mission. Objective changed halfway through a la Namco X Capcom :rolleyes: , and I got slapped with B-rank because of it.
Here's my breakdown:
Map is same as veggie-maniac, not new. Objective is to defend your base for 3 turns, but what you're not told is that Edy has to exit the south road before the end of turn 4 if you want A-rank. You should split up her movement across 2-3 turns, meaning that Edy can stay at the base through the end of turn 1 but should start heading out during turn 2.
Turn 1 - Take out the 2 near tanks with your lancer (1 action) and Edy (2 actions). Your sniper can take out 3 soldiers. There's an enemy sniper in the grass on the NW hill. Send an engineer or (if you dare) your only scout. Your scout is almost worthless because she will waste your actions by not shooting when you command her. It seems she's only somewhat good for crossfire defense.
Turns 2-4 - Leave your shocktrooper and scout at the base. Lancer can take out the western heavy tank and then come back to base as an extra target. Enemies have a tendency to shoot, turn around your allies, then run someone else into the base. Save often. Edy and the engineer can travel the winding S road down after the W heavy tank is gone. Southern heavy tank is easily avoided; just don't step on the mines.
I will have to A-rank this some other day. I have read no reward for Edy mission but yes for Selvaria. Both are totally unrelated to anything achieved/acquired during the story and skirmish modes, so you won't get to use the awesome weapons and armor you already unlocked. Didn't feel worth $10 for the 2 missions. Definitely not buying EX mode.
