It's the best GTA and the cars are fine. Better even. There's bigger difference from the lowest to highest tier.
Also, better characterization and cutscenes and the best voice acting in a game ever. Maybe.

So far GTA IV gets a big "meh" from me and I don't think I want to play it any more. The 10/10s I'm sure are for the most part genuine but this is not a game to be played, this is a game to be watched or experienced because it's the actual gameplay that is driving me away. And conversely, just because there's hype doesn't mean it's not an incredible game.

I give it an 7/10 single player and 9/10 multiplayer. I in no way hate the game, i just don't think it's the best game EVER.
