Anyone here know of anything fun do at night in Philly? A good bar, a club with some live bands, whatever? Me and a few buddies are coming into town Saturday. The plan is to hit a Cracker Barrel on the Jersey Turnpike for breakfast, then some museums (the "Rocky" art museum, the science museum) in Philly during the day. We just don't know what to do at night. Any suggestions?
Too bad nothing is happening at Helium, but the Helium Comedy club is a good place.
I love Philly, but do be aware that the city pretty much closes by 10PM. It's not a night city like New York. Shit dowtown along Market Street stays open as do a lot of the oddball shops and dives around South Street, but that's about it.
And a billion clubs on Delaware ave will be open.
I recomend Comedy Sportz, they have a show on Saturday at 7:30 and 10pm. It's 15 bucks a pop. If you like improv it's worth it, I've gone a few times it's always funny.
