haha...well, I rented the Lego Star Wars games and I came away unimpressed. It just seemed like they were all flash and no substance. I mean, I know they were supposed to be "kids games" but the level design, enemy placement, checkpoint/health system, and overall gameplay mechanics were not the greatest.
The overall design of the game pales in comparison to other "kids games" like "Duck Tales" on the NES. At least Duck Tales had some solid mechanics that involved a little bit of skill and treated the kids like they've played a game before.
That being said, if Lego Indiana Jones plays EXACTLY like the Lego Star Wars games I'm sure I'll be raving about how great it is...just because its Indiana Jones in Lego form. I suppose thats the main appeal of the Lego Star Wars games anyways.
