Really? Weird. Somebody was on here raving about how the NES only caught on because of arcade ports, and cited that.
Soul Edge/Blade was better on the PS1 than the arcade.

Anyway, with the exception of the Japanese Accent Core port and its oddities, the GGXX series is a better experience at home. The transition from versus screen to Heaven or Hell is almost instantaneous in the PS2 versions, while the Atomiswave originals subject you to a solid four or five Mississippi count before loading each match.
