Sounds like a decent challenge - I'll see what I can do (no promises tho).
Are you limited to just Team Fortress characters?
For this image I wanted to go with a more surreal/cartoonish take on the source material, but unfortunately TF2 doesn't offer much in the way of legitimate props (or good bone flexibility/face posing). Either way, it worked well and the color variant went up along side the Demoman and Pyro TF2 "professional" images.

It must be noted the above pose was done without any advanced posing techniques, as this model is so well rigged and weighted that it's insanely flexible. This proves that people who know what they're doing can rig a skeleton with far more practical uses than anything from Valve (their standard bone structure is horribly limited).
