Peanut butter is pretty good for you right? I eat the "natural" kind and I have PB&J sandwiches a few times a week. I like to eat them after a workout sometimes because I get all jittery. What else is good for after a workout?
Starting tomorrow I'm back on my strict eating regiment. I've been off of it since about March. I haven't gained any weight, but I want to kick everything up a notch so I'm going to hit the weights harder and keep to my good eating habits.
Okay! This is the first day, which means that I have to get my ass back to the gym tomorrow, since I've been slacking off. And make sure I have only one drink when I'm out. I've been eating the Nature's Valley Oats 'N Honey bars (My favorite.) an hour before I work out, I think that's okay, right?
first day
last day of soda. Im gonna lay off as much alcohol as possible. No more fast food. Trying to run when i can, looking for a gym partner.
Official weigh in for first day: 155lbs.
So, I started a day early (yesterday) with my tweaked routine that I had a personal trainer go over.
I had been slacking and hadnt really been to the gym in 3 weeks. Man, I feel great and totally invigorated.
Today I did 30 minutes on the bike (2 minutes of HIT every 5 minutes), and legs - leg extensions, hamstring extensions, calf raises, leg presses, and weighted lunges.
Animegirl, going with the natural PB is so much better for you, so you are right on with that. But its recommended that you try to keep it to a Tablespoon of peanut butter a day. Nuts have healthy fat, but if you over do it, it can add up. Try swapping out PB every day with unsalted almonds if you get sick of the peanut butter.
